Two nights of high-quality rugby delivered drama, dominant performances, and finals places as the Northamptonshire & District Rugby Alliance semi-finals unfolded across two nights.

With multiple competitions reaching their climax, teams battled it out for a place in the finals — and the stakes were clear from the first whistle.

Alliance Cup Semi-Final

Old Scouts 68 – 7 Bugbrooke

A commanding display from Old Scouts saw them secure their place in the final in emphatic fashion and go one game away from retaining there title for the 4th year in a row. Clinical in attack and relentless throughout, they proved too strong for Bugbrooke, who were unable to contain the momentum.

Lewis Shield Semi-Finals

Towcestrians 30 – 19 Bletchley
A composed and effective performance from Towcestrians earned them a well-deserved place in the final. Despite a strong forward effort from Bletchley, Towcestrians managed the game well and capitalised on key moments.

Olney 29 – 38 Old Northamptonians
A thrilling, high-scoring encounter saw Old Northamptonians (ONs) come out on top. Both sides showed attacking intent, but ONs edged the contest to book their place in the final.

Oceanic Cup Semi-Final

Towcestrians 61 – 14 Buckingham

An outstanding attacking display from Towcestrians saw them complete a dominant victory over Buckingham. Running in points with confidence, they now head into the final looking to retain the trophy.

Women’s Alliance Cup Semi-Final

Bletchley Women 31 - 15 Milton Keynes Women

Attention then turned to Friday night, where the Women’s Alliance Cup Semi-Final brought another exciting fixture to the calendar.
With two strong sides in Bletchley Women and Milton Keynes Women, the stage was set for a competitive and entertaining clash under the lights. With Blecthley running out eventual winners.

With the majority of semi-finals now complete, the finals line-up is almost confirmed across all competitions.
