The Northampton & District Rugby Alliance has officially released the draw for its 2026/27 Cup Competitions, with clubs preparing for another exciting campaign as they battle for four prestigious trophies.

The season will once again feature the Alliance Cup, Women's Alliance Cup, Lewis Shield, and Oceanic Cup, with fixtures promising competitive rugby and local rivalries throughout the season.

The Alliance Cup begins with an opening-round clash between Daventry and Bugbrooke, with the winner progressing to face Northampton Casuals in the quarter-finals. Elsewhere, Northampton Old Scouts welcome Olney, Towcestrians host Long Buckby, and Old Northamptonians take on Milton Keynes in what promises to be a highly competitive quarter-final stage.

The Women's Alliance Cup continues to showcase the growth of women's rugby across the Alliance and includes an intriguing mix of established contenders and emerging clubs. Buckingham Swans II, the current Women's Alliance Cup holders, begin the defence of their title against Brackley, who will be making their first-ever appearance in the Alliance Cup competition. Elsewhere, Bletchley face Milton Keynes in a highly anticpate local derby, Northampton Casuals welcome Daventry, while Olney receive a bye into the next round.

The historic Lewis Shield also returns, providing another opportunity for clubs to compete for one of the Alliance's longest-standing honours. First-round fixtures include:

The Oceanic Cup begins with two opening-round ties as Northampton Casuals face Olney, while Bugbrooke welcome Bletchley. The winners will progress to the quarter-finals, where Towcestrians, BBOB, Old Northamptonians, Buckingham, Northampton Old Scouts, and Brackley await.
